Ask for a room with a balcony. You get a million dollars view from the city below. Clean and roomy with free breakfast, very helpful and nice staffs, plus free unlimited ride of the funicular to the center of city. If you have heavy luggage when taking taxis, tell them to go to funicular then buy a 35 peso ticket go up. The hotel is right at the top of the funicular station. If you taxis go to the hotel, then they drop you up on the road and you have to carry your luggage many steps down to the hotel.

I stayed there in November on a private trip. The views are spectacular, perhaps even more spectacular than the famous Pipilla Hill. If you are staying for the spectacular view, this is a recommended hotel. Be aware that in some rooms, the lamp posts and their electric wires may blocking your view. Some rooms have a lot of scorpion beetles in the room, so people who don't like bugs should be careful. If you stay here, you will receive a priority boarding pass for the cable car. The staff is friendly, and in any case, I highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic views. The most fascinating way to get to the downtown actions is the funicular. Intervals are very short and the free pass from the hotel lets you to pass the line. Service was good, breakfast average, sufficiently hot water. I had a dreamy vacation.

Stayed in the king room with the giant tub. Exceptional views and free funicular and ez access make this a nice stay. Tub was great one day but no hot water the following morning to fill the tub but once was really enough to enjoy our one night stay. They need an ice machine to enjoy cold wine or champagne with the beautiful tub/jacuzzi. Construction is ongoing at this time from checkin til 6 and of course mornings. So siesta might be difficult. Excellent staff. There are stairs so if you have mobility issues please check with staff first.

Great place great views. Just need to consider although it’s great the funicular takes you up/down to and from the city it’s does end at 9pm daily and usually you’ll still be exploring the city or participating in a late night callejonada, listening to life music while grabbing a bite to eat or having a karaoke session so you’ll need to taxi your way back up or climb the stairs.

It’s incredibly convenient and saves you a long walk up the hill! • Impeccably Clean: I was very impressed by how clean and well-kept the entire property is. The rooms are spotless, which made the stay even more relaxing. Between the world-class views and the wonderful hospitality, this hotel is a 10/10.

Fantastic view of the city from our balcony! The hotel is right next to the monument of Pipila and the gondola so it is very accessible to go down to town. One of the best hotel locations in town!

All the stars go to the view from my room. That was the greatest experience I've ever had in a hotel. I think I stayed in the room with the best view. Otherwise, 1. there were no hot water. 2. noise from outside was terrible since it was next to Funicula waiting space. 3. Some kind of construction noise was horrible after midnight. It woke me up like every 30min. Couldn't get enough sleep. 4. The bed was a bit too stiff. Excluding its view, 100 dollar is too expensive for its room.
